YCP Leaders Slam Naidu For Failure To Get Sops For AP

Vijayawada: Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Botcha Satyanarayana and YSRCP leader Buggana Rajendranath have come down heavily on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his failure to get funds for Andhra Pradesh despite being part of the NDA coalition at the Centre.

They told separate press conferences, Botcha in Visakhapatnam and Buggana, who served as Finance Minister in the YSRCP Government in Kurnool, that while making tall claims, the TDP-led NDA coalition has miserably failed in fulfilling its Super Six Guarantees. They said the coalition leaders including those from BJP and Jana Sena Party have decided to mislead the public to divert attention by making false allegations against the YSRCP leaders on a regular basis.

Botcha alleged that the Union Budget is a clear testimony of Naidu’s priorities which are focused not on State interests as he lagged behind in getting sops when compared to Bihar which has a fewer number of seats in Lok Sabha than TDP.

Barring the quote of Gurazada there is no mention of Andhra Pradesh with the exception of Polavaram height reduction, he said adding that the priorities of Chandrababu Naidu were exposed in the Union budget.,he said. Earlier, Bugganna slammed Naidu for not mounting pressure on the Centre to get more sops to the State and let go the advantage to Bihar even though the Centre has taken up the welfare schemes of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The former Minister referred to Naidu's reaction on X, and said he was unmindful of the variation vis-à-vis Bihar which has a fewer number of seats.
